Village Council
Meetings are 2nd Monday of every month at 6:00 p.m
Reviews rezoning requests and Zoning Ordinance and Village Code amendments
Zoning Board of Appeals (Village Council)
Meetings are 2nd Monday of every month at 6:00 p.m.
Interprets and grants variances from provisions of the Zoning Ordinance.
Conducts hearings and resolves disputes regarding the decisions of the Zoning Administrator.
Downtown Development Authority Board
Meetings are 2nd Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m.

The Village Clerk’s Office is responsible for keeping a record of all Village Council proceedings and attending all meetings, regular and special, and provides a summary of minutes for each meeting which are presented to the Village Council for approval. They are responsible for the maintenance of a record and log of original ordinances and resolutions. Also, as a signatory for all contracts, ordinances, accounts payable and payroll for the Village's operations. The clerk is also responsible for accountability and transparency of all Village activities such as Citizen’s Guide, Debt Service, Performance Dashboard, Projected Budget and the CVTRS Certification form. Elections within the Village are conducted by the Millington Township Clerk's Office.

The Village of Millington taxes are sent out on June 1st of every year. Taxes are due August 31st of each year. Taxes can be paid to the Village of Millington on or before September 14th without penalty or interest.

Tax bills are sent to the homeowner unless they are in an escrow, then the bank, mortgage company or tax service must request the property tax amount from the Village.
The Village of Millington is in Millington Township; therefore, all assessments are completed by the Millington Township Assessor. Please check your assessed valuation. Report any errors to Millington Township at 989-871-4418.

Due August 31st – to be paid at the Village of Millington Office until September 14th.Millington Township –

Due September 15th (these are the school tax) – to be paid at the Tuscola County Treasurer’s office.
